Banqueting Kitchen Resurface
We were instructed to investigate and advise on the problems associated with the water penetration through the banqueting kitchen wash up floor area and damage to the car park drive through area beneath.
After detailed investigation of the floor slab and problems associated with the suspended drainage, a scheme for rectifying the defects was agreed. This involved the removal and relaying of the floor screeds and application of a waterproof flooring system together with remedial works to the suspended drainage and soffit areas to the car park.
The project which included decommissioning and temporarily relocating all kitchen equipment was completed in a 2 week accelerated programme.
